- Messias Vinho Verde, Caves Messias, Portugal VE£7 / £10 / £27At only 8.5% alcohol this trendy light dry white is perfect for a glass or two over lunch. This comes from a quality focused family run Portuguese winery established in 1926.
- Il Bandiera Pinot Grigio, Veneto, Italy VE£7.50 / £10.50 / £28A superior Pinot Grigio from a top producer. Dry with hints of lime on the nose. From the region of Veneto which includes the famous city of Venice.
- Senso Trebbiano, Emilia Romagna, Italy VENA / £10.50 / £28Zesty and medium bodied white with aromas of white flowers and pears. This is perfect if you prefer a slightly lighter style of white wine.
- Les Anges Sauvignon Blanc, France VE£11 / £29Uncomplicated French Sauvignon with a pronounced bouquet. One of our favourites with the regulars. Slightly more delicate than its New World counterparts.
- Mavida Estate Chardonnay, Central Valley, Chile VE£11 / £29This is a delicious unoaked Chardonnay made in this popular crisp refreshing style. Made by the Mavida winery where all wines are bottled at source for better quality
- Bodegas Santalba Rioja Seleccion Blanco, Rioja Alta, Spain VE£11.50 / £31Pale yellow in colour with citrus overtones and a long finish. Made from the Viura grape. White Rioja is very popular now, try it today
- Dal Vulcano Fiano, Benevento, Campania, Italy VE£33On the palate it is crisp with stone fruit flavours and is complimented by a zing making this wine beautifully balanced. Dal Volcano means “from the volcano”
- Florals Sauvignon Blanc, Nelson, New Zealand£33From an excellent producer in Nelson. Vibrant gooseberry and passion fruit aromas. Fairly dry on the palate with a strong finish. This is certain to please NZ Sauvignon lovers.
- Domaine Saint Hilaire Picpoul de Pinet, Languedoc, France VE£38Relatively unknown in the UK a few years ago, this dry mineral white is now a must try. Bottled in the traditional “Neptune” bottle and a perfect match for any seafood.
- Cascina Radice Gavi DOCG, Piemonte, Italy VE£39Green apple, citrus and pear on the palate. Excellent freshness with a nice balance of acidity. Made from the Cortese grape and incredibly trendy at the moment
- Linar de Vides Albariño, Galicia, Spain VE + ORG£41Spain’s greatest white wine from the much cooler northern part of the country. Dry, concentrated and with a long, refreshing finish. Delicious with any seafood.
- Krughof Terroir Riesling, Rheinhessen, Germany£42Tropical fruit aromas with a slightly sweet honeyed palate. Confectionary hints on the finish and sure to please fans of German wines.
- Domaine Legros Sancerre “Vieilles Vignes”, Loire Valley, France VE£56Jean Louis Legros makes this strong flavoured wine from old vine grapes. Considered by many to be the finest place in the world for Sauvignon Blanc wines.
- Domaine Mauperthuis Chablis Premier Cru, Burgundy, France VE + ORG£78Made from the Chardonnay grape with an excellent crisp bite that the Chablis region is famed for. This is made by a couple called Laurent and Marie-Noëlle Ternynck.
- Domaine Mazilly Meursault “Les Meurgers”, Burgundy, France£95This has a delightful golden yellow colour, aromas of toasted nuts and ripe fruit, and a palate featuring orchard fruits and golden apples. Well balanced and long on the finish.
Orange – (250ml / Bottle)
- Bodegas Santalba “Que Vida” Rioja Orange, Rioja Alta, Spain VE£14 / £38Orange wine is made from white grapes, the juice is fermented on its skins to give it its colour. This has aromas of nectarine with a delicious dry palate.
- Regard d’Artiste Orange, France VE£41A blend of Muscat, Grenache Blanc and Viognier. The wine shows intense aromas of ripe oranges, and nectarine. Fresh, vivid, and well-balanced, with a nice acidity.
Sparkling – (125ml / Bottle)
- Lopez Morenas Cava Brut, Extremadura, Spain VE£30Dry with a slight yellow colour and totally delicious. Aromas of brioche and golden delicious apple on the nose. Made in the traditional method, the same as Champagne.
- Il Caggio Prosecco Spumante, Veneto, Italy VE£9.50 / £38Made from the Glera grape this well-known fizz only seems to be getting more and more popular. It is light and refreshing on the palate with hints of lime and green apple.
- Il Caggio Prosecco Spumante Rosé, Veneto, Italy VE£9.50 / £38From the ever quality conscious Il Caggio house this sparkling rosé has touches of cherry on the nose and the palate and is perfect with a light lunch.
- Joly Brut Champagne, Troissy, Marne Valley, France VE£34 / £65Very fine dry Champers made by the Joly family on their estate in the village of Troissy, just west of Epernay. Made from 100% Pinot Meunier.
Red – (175ml / 250ml / Bottle)
- Chevalier Georges Merlot, Pays d’Oc, France VE£10.50 / £28The warm climate of southern France helps to create a soft, sumptuous, dark Merlot. Made in the small village of Saint Georges d’Orques in the south of France.
- Senso Sangiovese, Rubicone, Emila-Romagna, Italy VE£7.50 / £10.50 / £28Easy drinking red with soft berry flavours. Fresh and juicy on the palate. The Sangiovese grape also makes wines like Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino.
- Chevalier Georges Pinot Noir, Pays d’Oc, France VE£12.50 / £34A superb example of Pinot Noir grown in vineyards near Montpellier at high altitude. This wine is perfect if you prefer a slightly lighter style of red.
- Cachão Tinto Selection, Caves Messias, Douro Valley, Portugal VE£13 / £35This is a delicious soft wine with flavours of blackberries and made from Port grapes. Quite robust and big on the finish and a perfect match for cheeses or charcuterie.
- Elegance Malbec, France VE£13.50 / £36Cracking full and rich Malbec from talented winemaker Joseph Castan. The Malbec grape originated in France in the Cahors and Bordeaux regions and is still used today.
- Lavoro Shiraz, Patritti, McLaren Vale, Australia VE£14 / £37Full-bodied Shiraz with touches of spice and pepper on the nose. This comes from the prestigious McLaren Vale region and is made by a winery established in 1926.
- Bodegas Santalba Rioja Seleccion Tinto, Rioja Alta, Spain VE£38With just five months in American oak barrels, this gives it the signature aroma of vanilla and toastiness on the nose. Smooth and elegant palate with soft tannins.
- Simonsig Estate Pinotage, Stellenbosch, South Africa VE£38A great cask-aged Pinotage with superb concentration. This wine is rich and intense. Dominated by ripe red fruit notes of cranberry and raspberry.
- Contrade Bellusa Nero d’Avola, Sicily, Italy VE + ORG£39Rich, ruby red in colour with a pronounced nose of dark cherries and bramble fruits. This is a medium bodied red with juicy flavours of cherry jam, raspberries, and black pepper.
- Joffré Gran Cuatro Uvas, Mendoza, Argentina VE£42A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. From the Joffré family vineyards and one of their top wines. 10 months in oak for a smoky aroma.
- Mavida Estate Carménère Limited Reserve, Curico Valley, Chile VE£48The Carménère grape originally from France, has characteristics of soft tannins and is quite concentrated on the nose and palate. A few months in oak for extra complexity.
- Château Haut Rocher Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France£63The de Monteil family makes this powerful Claret made mainly with Merlot grapes. It has had 18 months ageing in oak and comes from 40 year old vines.
- Domaine Mestre Châteauneuf-du-Pâpe, Rhône Valley, France£74An exceptional example of traditionally made Châteauneuf from a tiny estate. 60% Grenache, 24% Syrah and 16% Mourvèdre grapes and aged in oak for 14 months.
- Domaine Mazilly Beaune Premier Cru “Montrevenots”, Burgundy, France£82This old vine Pinot Noir evokes cherry and raspberry aromas. The palate shows good red and black fruit with a pleasant savoury edge.
Rosé – (175ml / 250ml / Bottle)
- Il Bandiera Pinot Grigio Blush, Veneto, Italy VE£7 / £10 / £27Off dry and light coloured. Very much in fashion for its easy to drink style. Aromas of strawberry and raspberry on the nose with a smooth finish.
- Feather Falls Zinfandel, California, USA£7.50 / £11 / £29This is perfect if you fancy something a bit sweeter. Aromas of confectionary and sweet red fruits on the nose and still as popular as ever.
- Pierre de Taille Provence Rosé, Aix, France VE£38A superb dry, light pink from this popular region. Pale in colour and a crisp finish. Made from Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, which is typical for the area.
